Giving children the opportunity for a better life--both now and for eternity.
A note from the United Brethren in Christ Church in Honduras.
Dear Brethren,
We give thanks to God first of all for how good he is to all of us who believe in him. We are very happy and content with all of you for this gesture of love that has been demonstrated toward us and our brethren. You cannot imagine the joy that invades our hearts every time that you supply another family with a house. To see, some times, maybe for the very first time, a smile come across the face of these children who for many years have lived under a roof of cardboard, and who today thanks to God and to the friendly and generous hands of all of you, these children now rejoice in the security and freedom of living under a permanent roof.
When we see all of these realities we just cannot be quite. All the houses God has made possible, together with all of those people of good will, both brothers and sisters. It is clear that without your help it would be very difficult to satisfy all the needs of these families that are in the project called Mt. Hebron.
The goal that we are working toward as a church is that all the people that come to live at Mt. Hebron be saved through Jesus Christ and that their children be instructed with the word of God.
We have a lot to do and alone it will be impossible. For that reason we are always counting on you to help us with this Mt Hebron project.
To all the brothers and sisters that have assisted us, we want them to know we are very pleased with all of you. With this letter we would like to express our appreciation and send our greetings and a hug to everyone who have worked together to make this project go forward.
We trust in God and in the goodwill of all of those with a good heart that you will continue to help us in this noble cause of bringing happiness and peace to the ones who need it the most.
God will pay all of you back in public for all that you have done and will do. We are praying for all of you.
May God bless you today, tomorrow and always.
